It provides the following specific provisions:
- Homes that already existed as at 11.03.2012 or for which planning permission had been obtained before this date are not affected by the changes to the law.
- An extension of up to 30% of the useable area of pre-existing secondary homes is tolerated.
- It will be possible to build tourist accommodation.
